DebtFree Planner ("the app", "we", "us") is a personal loan-prepayment and financial-planning calculator. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and what choices you have. We built this app to keep your financial figures on your own device — this policy is written to match that honestly.
1. Data you enter into the app
Your loan amount, interest rate, EMI, prepayment plans, child-fund goals, currency preference, and every other number you type into the app is stored only on your device, using Android's local storage (Jetpack DataStore). We never see it, never upload it, and have no server that receives it. Uninstalling the app deletes it permanently.
2. Data collected automatically
The app uses a small number of third-party services to keep it stable, free to use, and (optionally) to offer a paid upgrade. Each collects data independently of the numbers you enter above:

These services are operated by Google. You can review how Google handles this data in the Google Privacy Policy and, specifically for ads, how Google uses data in advertising.
3. What we do NOT collect
- No GPS or precise location — the app never requests location permission.
- No name, email, phone number, or account/login of any kind.
- No contacts, SMS, call logs, photos, or files.
- No selling of data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Your choices
- Delete everything: uninstalling the app removes all locally-stored data immediately.
- Ads personalization: you can limit ad personalization in your device's Settings → Google → Ads, or opt out of interest-based ads entirely at adssettings.google.com.
- Purchases: the one-time Pro purchase is managed entirely through your Google Play account and subject to Google Play's own refund policy.
5. Children's privacy
This app is a financial-planning tool intended for adults managing a home loan and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your region).
6. Data retention
Data you enter stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app — we hold none of it. Data collected by Crashlytics, Analytics, and AdMob is retained according to Google's own retention schedules, described in the Google Privacy Policy linked above.
🗑️ Delete Your Data — DebtFree Planner
Step 1 — Data on your device (loan amounts, EMI, goals, currency, all figures you entered): uninstall the DebtFree Planner app from your Android device. This deletes 100% of it immediately and permanently — nothing is retained anywhere, because we never had a copy of it in the first place.
Step 2 — Data collected by Google SDKs on our behalf (crash logs, app-usage analytics, advertising ID): email topten7919@gmail.com from the email address associated with your Play Store account, with the subject line "Data Deletion Request," and include your device model and approximate date of last app use. We will forward the request to Google's deletion channels for Crashlytics/Analytics/AdMob data tied to your device, and confirm back to you within 30 days. You can also independently reset or delete your advertising ID at any time at adssettings.google.com — this immediately breaks the link between past ad/analytics data and your device going forward.
What is deleted vs. retained:
- Deleted immediately: all financial figures you entered (loan details, prepayment plans, child-fund goals, currency settings) — deleted the moment you uninstall the app, since it was only ever stored locally on your device.
- Deleted on request: crash logs and analytics events tied to your device, once we forward your request to Google.
- Retained regardless (not deletable by us): the record of your one-time "Pro Unlock" purchase, which Google Play retains as part of its own transaction/tax records — this is Google's obligation as the payment processor, not data we hold.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
